Frame coloursDoor frames are made of UPVC and are available in flat white or in woodgrain effect colours on the outside of the door only, so frames are always white on the inside. Coloured frames are only available on open-in doors.

Lever or padNormal (lever handle both sides): Pad (lever inside, pad outside): Both types require the handle to be lifted in order to engage the multi point locks. Once lifted the key can be turned to fully lock.

External cillMost doors require an external cill to drain water away correctly. If you already have a stone or tiled cill as part of the building you may not require a cill. Your door will be manufactured to the sizes given including whichever cill and threshold is chosen. The cill width is 100mm wider than the door projecting 50mm on each side. Cylinder locksWe supply these locking cylinders: 
ERA cylinder: 1 star Kite-marked cylinder compliant with PAS 24:2012 as standard. ERA thumbturn: allowing you to lock the door from the inside without a key. At the outside a key as usual. Ultion security: A superb 3 star Kite-marked security cylinder with 11 pins, with a £1000 snap guarantee from Ultion. Ultion thumbturn: A superb Ultion security cylinder but with a thumb-turn inside. All doors come with 3 keys.
Secured by DesignAt 3.6mm, the skin of these doors are more than twice as thick as the majority of GRP doors on the market. Conform to PAS24:2016, if the door is open-in and you select the Ultion cylinder. Secured by Design (SBD)
Open inside/outsideOpen-in: Typically doors open inwards into a building. High quality Slimline adjustable hinges are provided, with a good 38mm clearance, so usually no side extender is needed. Open-out: The hinges are on the outside, using a non adjustable "Butt" design.

For open-in doors, we supply the high quality Slim-line hinges that are adjustable. In the case of a door with an additional side panel, we would recommend that the hinge be placed on the wall side.

Great for properties with deep plaster, render or tiles over tiles. Some fitters buy extenders as a precaution, for example where the door opening has not been built yet. Extenders can be modified to accomodate inconsistent side walls. Extenders simply clip or slide on the door profile as you can see on the picture. Please note: extenders are 15mm wide, so a 30mm is comprised of 2 x 15mm, and a 45mm is 3 x 15mm.

Fixing kitContains approximately 40 assorted packers of various thicknesses (1 to 4mm) ideal for aligning and fitting the frame and glass units (toe and heeling). Also approximately 12 concrete countersunk screws 7.5 x 120mm. These screws do not require wall plugs. How to video on Youtube. Not needed when choosing our installation service at the cart.
LetterboxThe Trojan Unicorn letter plate has a unique and elegant stainless steel design. It features a peripheral seal on the external flap to provide a full barrier against draughts and noise pollution. Letterboxes are matched to your handle colour and have the same colour on the inside too. If for some reason you wish to have a letterbox of a different colour, please leave a note at checkout. Secured by Design accreditation requires a different Secure TS008 letterbox from Trojan, that comes only in silver or gold, complete with a protective inside cover in white. (Automatically selected when Secured by Design is enabled).
